Summary:
Despite the fact that Ushkager has no heavy industries, it has one of the highest quality starports in the sector. At one point, Ushkager was on a trade route connecting Carill to the Third Imperium, but as the Imperium grew the trade routes shifted leaving the system behind. The UDC (Ushkager Development Corporation) kept the colony alive by buying up facilities as other companies failed or pulled out and turning them into elaborate casinos and decadent entertainment complexes. Today Ushkager is primarily a playground for the idle rich and a hunting ground for those that prey on them.
